  • 1 When is the walkathon?

    Skechers Mumbai Walkathon will be held on 9th November 2025 at Inorbit Mall Open Parking Lot, Malad West.

  • 2 Who can participate in the Walkathon?

    Everyone is welcome to join – whether you're walking for fun, fitness, or a cause.

  • 3 What does the participation fees include?

    The participation fees include the below: –

    • Enrolment for the event
    • Event t-shirt, medal, bib, instruction card and timing certificate
    • Timed Chip bib for 10KM and 5Km category
    • Breakfast at the day of the event

  • 4 What is the early bird offer?

    • Early bird offer is applicable on registrations only for a limited period and at the sole discretion of the brand
    • The offer is based on first come first serve basis
    • The offer is 10% discount on registration fee for all the categories
    • Early bird registrations are non-transferable to other individuals or events.

  • 5 What is Special Edition Jersey Offer?

    • This offer is open to Participants who register for Skechers Mumbai Walkathon 2025 in a group of 6 or more individuals under a single registration through the event's official website.
    • Early Bird coupon code is applicable for this offer.
    • Groups as winners will be selected randomly through a lucky draw.
    • Every eligible participants of the winning group will receive a special edition t-shirt (“T-Shirt”) with a printed autograph of Skechers brand ambassador
    • Within the winning group, only participants aged 7 years and above will be eligible to receive the special edition t-shirts
    • T-shirts are non-returnable and non-replaceable.
    • The winner will be contacted via email or SMS to claim their prize.
    • The winner must respond to the notification email within 24 hours to claim their prize.

  • 6 What are the modes of payment?

    Payment will be accepted by Debit Card, Credit Card, Net-Banking, UPI & Wallets only.

    No Cash payment will be accepted.

  • 7 What is the last day to register?

    Each category has a fixed number of slots. Registrations will close once all slots have been filled.

    No offline registration will be accepted.

    No on the spot registration at the venue is allowed.

  • 8 Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

    No, registration is non-transferable.

  • 9 Can I register on behalf of anyone else?

    Yes, you can register on this website on behalf of somebody else, but the credentials submitted at the time of registration, should be of the person being registered only.

  • 10 If I am out of station and will only reach on the event day. Can I still collect my kit?

    Bibs can only be collected on the BIB collection dates i.e. 07th & 8th of November 2025. In case you are out of station please nominate somebody to come and collect the BIB on your behalf as per the scheduled dates. This person should carry a letter of authorisation from the participant giving him authority to collect the kit on his/ her behalf. and a VALID ID (Govt.) PROOF. NO BIBS WILL BE GIVEN ON THE EVENT DAY.

  • 11 Can my child walk alone on his own?

    No, registrations for 7-14 years old will only happen under adult supervision and the parents or guardians shall accompany their child for a walk. Children are only allowed to walk in the 3km category. Both the child and the accompanying parent or guardian must register for the event in the 3km category.

  • 12 On what grounds can my application be rejected or declared invalid?

    A registration would be rejected or declared invalid if:

    (1) The details submitted by a candidate are false/fake and do not match the details as on the valid government approved photo ID

    (2) Payment of participation fees is unsuccessful.

  • 13 What do I do if my registration fails?

    Make a fresh registration from the beginning. In case the amount has gotten deducted for the earlier failed registration, the same will be reversed in 10-15 working days. In case the payment reversal doesn’t happen in 10-15 working days, please write to [email protected]

  • 14 Can I change my category/ bib number after successful registration?

    Category or BIB number cannot be changed after successful registration.

  • 15 How do I know if I have successfully registered?

    An email confirmation and an SMS will be sent to the contact numbers and email ID as provided in the registration form within 48 hours.

  • 16 Can I & my group of friends/ colleagues submit our applications together as a group?

    A user can register up to 10 people with a single registration by filling in all the required details of each person participating in the event.

  • 17 I have signed up and made payment but not received my confirmation. What should I do?

    Please wait for 24-48 hours to receive your confirmation via email and SMS. Post 48 hours, you can write to us on [email protected] or call us on our toll-free number 18002008555 from Monday to Saturday between 10 am to 7 pm and we will get back to you within 3-4 working days.

  • 18 What is the walkathon route?

  • 19 Where is the start and finish point?

  • 20 Will weather affect the event?

    No. The Walkathon will take place rain or shine. Please dress accordingly and bring appropriate gear (e.g., raincoat, hat, sunscreen).

  • 21 Will I get my walk timing?

    For 10 km and 5 km, the timing chip will be attached with the bibs & you will get an SMS for your timings after the event gets over. Since 3 km is not a timed category, you can time it by using a stopwatch.

  • 22 What are the various categories and fees?

    Skechers Mumbai Walkathon will have the following 3 walking categories with Registration fee

    • 3 km (Fun Walk) – INR 699
    • 5 km (Timed Walk) – INR 999
    • 10 km (Timed Walk) – INR 1299

  • 23 Are there any bag/valuables deposit facilities?

    Yes, baggage counter facility will be available at the venue on a “first come, first serve basis”. The baggage will be kept solely at owner’s risk. Participants are requested to not carry any valuable items to the event. In case of any loss or theft, organizers will not be responsible for the same and the responsibility will be solely borne by the participant themselves.

  • 24 Are there parking facilities around the walkathon venue?

    Yes, we have a limited number of parking slots around the Walkathon venue. Please refer to the directional signage for the same which will be present in and around the venue and in the handout given in the bib kits. Parking of the vehicle will be solely at the owner's risk. Parking will be available on a “First come, first served basis”.

  • 25 Where and when is the walkathon bib collection?

    The pick-up location for the bibs is as per the following:

    Location: Open Parking Area, Inorbit Mall, New Link Rd, Malad West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400064.

    Date: 07th and 08th November 2025

    Time: 11 am to 6 pm

  • 26 What do I need to bring to collect my walkathon bib/kit?

    Please carry a Valid Photo ID used at the time of registration for the event along with the confirmation email.

  • 27 What is competitive timed walk?

    The 5 km and 10 km categories are competitive timed walks. A Competitive Timed Walk is a long-distance footrace in which the participants must walk and shall not run. Form and technique of walking are very important in this category. Competitive walking isn’t just slow running. It is a progression of steps taken in such a way that the walker contacts the ground at all times and no visible loss of contact occurs during this course. Please refer to the Instructions Video on this website.

  • 28 Am I allowed to change my t-shirt size?

    Sizes as provided at the time of registration will be the final size and no changes will be accepted further on. All Skechers Mumbai Walkathon Jerseys have a standard size – 3XL, XXL, XL, L, M, S, XS, XXS. We are not responsible for customizing the Jersey size.

  • 29 Once registered can I cancel my registration and get refund?

    • No Refunds and Cancellation is allowed at any point of time after successfully registering for the event.
    • In case you registered for the event but did not attend, no refunds will be provided.

  • 30 Can someone else collect the bib on my behalf?

    For secured and safe transactions between the company and event participants, it is advisable to collect your kit by being physically present at the BIB collection centre and displaying the valid government approved photo id as given during the time of registration. Each participant is only eligible for one event kit for him/herself. In case, a participant cannot collect his/her BIB for a genuine reason, he/she can nominate someone to collect on his/her behalf with a VALID ID (Govt.) PROOF and an authorisation letter from the participant.

  • 31 Are there any awards that will be given for completing your walk faster than others?

    Skechers will be felicitating the top three winners in the Male & Female open categories of the 10 km and 5 km walk with prize money and medals.

    The winners will be announced on our website and will receive their win details in 5-7 working days post event.

    Please note: The necessary tax deductions will be applicable on the prize money.

  • 32 Will I get a medal if I do not complete the walk?

    No, only those who successfully finish the walk shall be gratified with a medal.

  • 33 Will there be a refund made if the walkathon is called off by Skechers due to any reason?

    Yes, we will issue the complete refund.

  • 34 When can I get disqualified?

    On committing a foul (no foot in contact with the ground/running/ bent knee /lifting /pushing other participants), a yellow paddle* will be shown to the participant by a judge. Each foul committed would amount to a penalty of 10 seconds being added to the final completion time of the participant. Any participant crossing the limit of 3 fouls (30 seconds penalty), would be shown a red paddle* to indicate disqualification.

  • 35 What is the judging criteria for competitive timed walk?

    The appointed chief judge of Competitive Timed Walk shall have all the powers to make the final decision.

    • All the judges & Competitive Walk officials will act in an individual capacity and their judgment shall be based on observations made by them.
    • For the 10 km & 5 km Competitive Timed Walk, there will be one chief judge, Race officials & volunteers (placed across the route) for observation & judging the competition.
    • For Bent Knee & loss of contact, the race official will show the yellow paddle* indicating the foul to the participants & each foul will attract 10 seconds penalty. After 3 fouls, the judge will show the red paddle* which means the participant is disqualified. (This means that the participant’s timing certificate will be cancelled, and participant’s BIB will be reported to the chief judge during the walk.)
    • During the competition, the Chief Judge has the power to disqualify a participant in the last 100m when his mode of progression fails to comply with the rules regardless of the number of previous yellow paddles* that the participant has received.
    • A participant who is disqualified by the Chief Judge under these circumstances shall be allowed to finish the race. He shall be notified of this disqualification by the Chief Judge or a Chief Judge’s Assistant by showing the participant a red paddle* at the earliest opportunity after the participant has finished the race.

  • 36 What are the eligibility requirements for the categories?

    • Participants should meet the minimum age requirement of
    • For the 3 km Fun Walk, the applicant should be 7 years and above as on event day (i.e. on or before 09th November 2025). It is mandatory for Parents or Guardians to accompany their child (between 7-14 years of age) for the walk during the event.
    • For 5 km Competitive Timed Walk, the applicant should be 16 years and above as on event day.
    • For the 10 km Competitive Timed Walk, the applicant should be 18 years and above as on event day.
    • Participants should carry copy of their valid ID proof and submit it at the time of BIB collection and shall carry the original ID while reporting on event date.
    • Participants shall report to the venue wearing their respective BIBs on their walkathon t-shirt as there are no provisions for the same at the venue.
    • Wearing Sports shoes for the participants is mandatory throughout the event.
    • Participants shall mandatorily wear their jerseys till the event concludes.

  • 37 Is there any upper age limit for any of the categories?

    There is no upper age limit for participants for any of the categories. Minimum age required for each category is mentioned below.

    • For the 3 km Fun Walk, the applicant should be 7 years and above as on event day (i.e. on or before 09th November 2025). It is mandatory for Parents or Guardians to accompany their child (between 7-14 years of age) for the walk during the event.
    • For 5 km Competitive Timed Walk, the applicant should be 16 years and above as on event day.
    • For the 10 km Competitive Timed Walk, the applicant should be 18 years and above as on event day.

  • 38 How do I register?

    Please carry your BIB and Valid Photo ID used at the time of registration for the event along with the walkathon t-shirt.

  • 40 Post event can I get my event jersey?

    Post event there is no provision of giving the T-shirt, medals, certificate, bib, etc. kits needs to be collect from BIB distribution center only as per stated date.

  • 41 How can people with special needs or disability reach out to us with questions about the event?

  • 42 Am I allowed to bring my pet for walkathon?

    Pets are not allowed at the event.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions

  • Registration for the Skechers Mumbai Walkathon 2025 ("Event") will be done online through the link https://www.skecherswalkathon.in/ on first come first serve basis. Offline & On the Spot registration will not be accepted at any point of time.
  • Last date of registration for Event is 2nd November 2025, beyond which no registration will be accepted.
  • Walking categories are based on the distance. There are no age categories except the minimum age criteria mentioned for the respective walking categories.
  • Participants shall collect their BIB along with participation kit from BIB collection centre by displaying their valid Government-notified photo ID proof as provided at the time of registration. In case a participants cannot collect their BIB for a genuine reason; they may authorise a family member/ a friend to collect it on their behalf by providing a valid Government-notified ID proof and an authorisation letter from the participant.
  • Participants shall collect their BIBs from BIB collection centre between 11am to 6pm on 07th November 2025 and 08th November 2025 only. Participant shall be responsible to collect their BIB, jersey and participation kit from BIB collection centre only. Skechers will not send anything to participant at their address. There will be no BIB collection centre at the venue on the Event Day.
  • NO BIBS WILL BE GIVEN ON THE EVENT DAY i.e. 9th November 2025. Hence, participants shall ensure to collect BIBs from BIB collection centre within prescribed date and time. Participants without a BIB will not be allowed to enter the venue and participate in the Event. Strictly NO BIB NO ENTRY NO PARTICIPATION.
  • Participant shall refer size chart before entering Jersey size while registering for the Event. Jersey size cannot be changed once the registration is done. Further, the exchange of Jersey is not allowed at any point of time.
  • Registration for multiple participants for the Event can be done using a single registration form and the details of each such participant should be mentioned in the registration form as per the government notified identity proof (PAN/Aadhaar card, etc.). One applicant can register for maximum 10 participants. Such applicant registering for multiple people hereby agrees that such applicant has obtained necessary consents from all of the other participants being registered for the Event for the collection, processing, and sharing of their personal data with Skechers and consents to the processing of such personal information by Skechers in accordance with privacy policy available at https://www.skechers.in/privacy-policy.html
  • Parents or legal guardians intending to register a minor (i.e. below the age of 18 years) for the Event, need to mandatorily register the minor as well as themselves in the same category for the Event. No minor allowed to participate without their parent/ legal guardian.
  • Participants with disability to be accompanied by their guardians during the Event. The guardians need to mandatorily register themselves in the same category for the Event. Participants with disability will not be allowed to participate without their guardians.
  • On the Event date, venue gates will be closed at 7:00AM for entry. No participant will be allowed to enter the venue once the gates are closed.
  • The registration can be secured upon full payment of the participation fees for the respective walking categories. The payment mode of the participation fees can be made as per options available on the website https://www.skecherswalkathon.in/. The participation fees are inclusive of all taxes.
  • Upon successful registration, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, and no requests for cancellation of registration or refund will be entertained under any circumstances.
  • In case the registration fails even upon successful payment or in case of double payment due to any technical error, the excess payment (if any) will be refunded within 10-15 Working days from the date of intimation to customer care, upon verification of payment.
  • The confirmed registrations are non-transferable and cannot be modified at any point of time.
  • Skechers reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reasons.
  • Cash prize received by winners shall be subject to deduction of tax as may be applicable under the law.
  • The participants who have completed their walk under respective category shall be entitled to receive a medal. The participants shall ensure to collect their medal from the venue only. In case participant doesn’t collect the medal from the venue, Skechers will not be liable to provide medals post Event date.
  • Skechers reserves the right to disqualify any participant and/or nullify his or her result if there is any violation of the terms and conditions on the part of participant during the Event.
  • It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that he/she is physically and mentally fit to participate in the Event.
  • No transportation or travel reimbursement will be provided to any participant to and from the Event venue.
  • Participants acknowledge that there are risks involved in walking on roads, contact with other participants, effects of the weather including high heat, rain or humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, arson or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with a public event, notwithstanding the adequacy or otherwise of arrangements for traffic control, medical and other services made available by Skechers, their representatives and/or public authorities, the risks associated in the Event are fully assumed by participants and Skechers shall not be liable for the same.
  • Participants confirm that they are aware of the inherent risks of participating in the Event including fatigue (mental or physical), trauma (mental or physical), bodily injury, death, or loss of property.
  • Participants are required to follow the instructions given by Skechers, their representative and race officials during the Event. Skechers reserves the right to remove any participant from the Event who refuse to follow instructions of the race officials during the Event.
  • Participants are required to observe highest standards of conduct at all the times. Using bad language, physical violence, threats, or any misconduct during participation in the Event is strictly prohibited. Skechers reserves the right to initiate appropriate action including disqualification from the Event against the participants violating the terms of Event and Skechers shall not be liable for any claims of participants against such action by Skechers.
  • All participants are prohibited from bringing or using tobacco products, alcohol, and drugs of any kind during the Event.
  • Participants grant Skechers an irrevocable right to publish pictures and image material etc., recorded/clicked during or around the time of the Event, in which the Participant is visible for the purpose of promotion or marketing without any consideration.
  • Participants acknowledge and agrees that their personal information can be stored and used by Skechers or any other company in connection with the organization, promotion, and administration of the Event and for the compilation of statistical information. Data will be used for event related communication as well as promotional and marketing communications. You may reach out to [email protected] for opting out of such promotional and marketing communications.
  • The rights and benefits available to the participant under this Event are at the sole discretion of Skechers and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances. The participant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising out of such confirmation of participation.
  • Participants of all categories including guardians hereby agree and declare that they are in good health and have no physical condition that would endanger their life while participating in the Event. It shall be the responsibility of the participants to obtain appropriate medical advice to ensure that there is no health risk involved in participation at the Event. Skechers and/or its vendors, contractors, sponsors, or any stakeholder directly or indirectly connected to the said Event, will not be held liable for any bodily harm, injury, accidents, or death or for any loss of or damage to personal property arising from participating in the Event.
  • Skechers reserves the right to amend/withdraw/terminate/cancel any part of/or the entire Event.
  • The Chief Judge of timed walking categories shall have all the powers to make the final decision. The decision of the Chief Judge shall be final and binding on all the participants. All the judges & competitive race officials will act in an individual capacity, and their judgments will be based on observations made by them. Participants shall be liable to abide by it without any protest.
  • Participants shall indemnify Skechers and/or its vendors, contractors, etc., against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses incurred by Skechers, its vendors, contractors due to any claim or action initiated by any person(s) against Skechers, its vendors, contractors, etc. due to any acts attributable to the Participants.
  • Participants hereby authorize Skechers and the medical support team to administer any such medical assistance and treatment to the participants as is deemed necessary in the circumstances during the Event. Participants acknowledge that there may be circumstances where they may need to be transported to a third-party facility such as a hospital or a nursing home for treatment and participants hereby authorize Skechers and the medical support team to shift them to such a facility for all treatments that may be required in such circumstances. Participants agree and undertake to pay all the costs of medical treatment, including transportation to any third-party facilities. Participants further acknowledge that the medical support provided by Skechers, and the medical support team is being provided in good faith, and participants shall assume all the risks of any such treatment being provided and waive all claims that might result on account of any medical treatment or transportation provided.
  • Baggage facility is available at the venue of Event. However, it is advisable to not carry any valuable items along with you. Responsibility of the baggage is at the owner's risk and Skechers will not be held responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of baggage.
  • Parking will be available at owner's risk on a "first come, first served basis".
  • Participants confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, any of the force majeure or restriction by authority, Skechers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone/alter the Event. No claims shall be referred to Skechers in this regard. Skecher's decision in this regard shall be final.
  • Skechers reserves the right to alter any of the terms and conditions as mentioned herein at its sole discretion without any recourse to the participants or any third parties.
  • By registering for the Event, participants or their parent or legal guardians (as the case may be) agree to have read, understood and accepted the privacy policy available at https://www.skechers.in/privacy-policy.html and provide consent to the collection, use, processing and disclosure (including with third party service providers, to the extent necessary) of your personal information for the purposes provided in the privacy policy. Further, in the event of a change in the law applicable to data protection in India, participants or their parent or legal guardians (as the case may be) expressly consent to the continued use, storage, collection and disclosure of their personal information by Skechers and agree to provide such additional consents and approvals, in such form and manner, as may be requested by Skechers. Should participants or their parent or legal guardians (as the case may be) choose to not provide Skechers with such additional consents and approvals, Skechers may need to alter the terms of their registrations.
  • Skechers reserves all the right to add, alter, modify, change withdraw or vary the terms and conditions at any point of time without assigning any reason or any intimation whatsoever.
  • All disputes relating to the Event are subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.

Terms and Conditions: Special Edition Jersey Offer

Offer Period:

  • Start Date – 27th September 2025
  • End Date – 12th October 2025

Eligibility Criteria:

  • This offer is open to Participants who register for Skechers Mumbai Walkathon 2025 ("Event") in a group of 6 or more individuals under a single registration through the link https://www.skecherswalkathon.in/.
  • Only valid and completed registrations made for the Event via the official registration platform before the end of Offer Period will be considered eligible.

Prize Details:

  • Groups as winners will be selected randomly through a draw.
  • Every eligible Participant of the winning group will receive a special edition t-shirt (“T-Shirt”) with a printed autograph of Skechers brand ambassador.
  • Within the winning group, only participants aged 7 years and above will be eligible to receive the special edition t-shirts.
  • A total of 60 Participants will be chosen as the winners.
  • Every eligible Participant of the winning group will get T-shirt based on the sizes provided by them at the time of the registration for the Event.
  • Every eligible Participant of the winning group must present their bib number to Skechers representatives for verification while collecting the T-shirt.
  • T-shirts are non-returnable and non-replaceable.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged against any other benefits, cash, or other merchandise. The prize can be claimed only by the person who has won the draw. Skechers may require the winner to provide additional information to verify the above at the time of handing over the T-shirt or at the place of Event.
  • Every eligible Participant of the winning group consents to allow Skechers to use its name for promotional & marketing purposes without additional compensation.

Winner Notification:

  • The winner will be contacted via email or SMS to claim their prize.
  • The winner must respond to the notification email within 24 hours to claim their prize.
  • Failure to respond within the specified period shall result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected.

General Conditions:

  • By participating in the offer, all participants agree to have read, understood and accepted the privacy policy available at https://www.skechers.in/privacy-policy.html and provide their consent to the collection, use, processing and disclosure (including with other organisers, third party service providers and sponsors) of their personal information by Skechers and the organizing committee, for promotion and administration of the offer, for the compilation of statistical information, marketing, sales, and for other purposes provided in the privacy policy.
  • Skechers reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this offer/terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • By availing the offer, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
  • Participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their information by Skechers for promotional purposes.
  • The decisions of Skechers on all matters relating to this offer are final, conclusive, and binding.
  • Except to the extent as stated herein, Skechers shall not be liable to pay any other charges or compensation of whatsoever nature to the participants or winners or any third party.
  • All disputes are subject to exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Mumbai only.
