Skechers Mumbai Walkathon will be held on 19^th November 2023 at Inorbit Mall open Parking Lot, Malad.

The participation fees include the below: –

• Enrolment for the event
• Event t-shirt, medal and certificate
• Breakfast at the day of the event

Payment will be accepted by Debit Card, Credit Card, Net-Banking, UPI & Wallets only.

Each category has a fixed number of slots. Registrations will close once all slots have been filled.

NO OFFLINE REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED.

No, registration is non-transferable.

Yes, you can register on this website on behalf of somebody else, but the credentials submitted at the time of registration, should be of the person being registered only.

BIBs can only be collected on the BIB collection dates i.e. 17^th and 18^th November 2023. In case you are outstation please nominate somebody to come and collect the BIB on your behalf. NO BIBS WILL BE GIVEN ON THE EVENT DAY.

No, registrations for 7-14 years old will only happen under adult supervision and the parents or guardians shall accompany their child for a walk. Children are only allowed to walk in the 3km category. Both the child and the accompanying parent or guardian must register for the event in the 3km category.

A registration would be rejected or declared invalid if:
(1) The details submitted by a candidate are false/fake and do not match the details as on the valid government approved photo ID
(2) Payment of participation fees is unsuccessful.

Make a fresh registration with successful payment of participation fees.

Payment will only be processed after filling the mandatory fields for registration, once the payment has been made a confirmation email and SMS will be sent to the email id and phone number as provided by the participant. Interested candidates are requested to meet all registering conditions with correct information and carefully follow the steps while registering for the event. Providing false contact information may lead to cancellation of registration and no refund of participation fees will be provided for the same.

No, category or BIB number cannot be changed after successful registration.

An email confirmation and an SMS will be sent to the contact numbers and email id as provided in the registration form during the registration process.

A user can register up to 10 people with a single registration by filling in all the required details of each person participating in the event.

For 10 Km and 5 Km, the timing chip will be attached with the BIBs & you will get an SMS for your timings after the event gets over. Since 3 km is not a timed category, you can time it by using a stopwatch physically or through your mobile phone.

Skechers Mumbai Walkathon will have the following 3 walking categories:

• 3 Km (Fun Walk)
• 5 Km (Timed Walk)
• 10 Km (Timed Walk)

Yes, baggage counter facility will be available at the venue on a “first come, first served basis”. The baggage will be kept solely at owner’s risk. Participants are requested to not carry any valuable items to the event. In case of any loss or theft, organizers will not be responsible for the same and the responsibility will be solely borne by the participant themselves.

Yes, we have a limited number of parking slots around the Walkathon venue. Please refer to the directional signage for the same which will be present in and around the venue and in the handout given in the BIB kits. Parking of the vehicle will be solely at the owner's risk. Parking will be available on a “First come, first served basis”.

The Pick-up location for the BIBs is as per the following:

Location: Open Parking Area, Inorbit Mall, New Link Rd, Malad West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400064.

Time: 11 am to 6 pm

The 5km and 10km categories are competitive timed walks. A Competitive Timed Walk is a long-distance footrace in which the participants must walk and shall not run. Form and technique of walking are very important in this category. Competitive walking isn’t just slow running. It is a progression of steps taken in such a way that the walker makes contact with the ground at all times and no visible loss of contact occurs during this course. Please refer to the Instructions Video on this website.

Sizes as provided at the time of registration will be the final size and no changes will be accepted further on. All Skechers Mumbai Walkathon Jerseys have a standard size – 3XL, XXL, XL, L, M, S, XS. We are not responsible for customizing the Jersey size.

Size chart:

Participants who are successfully registered can cancel their registration on or before 20^th October 2023 and get a refund of participation fees, subject to deduction of cancellation charges amounting to Rs. 50/- across all categories. Cancellation of registration will not be allowed post 20^th October 2023. Refunds can take up to a total of 5-7 working days for processing once the request has been received on [email protected].

In case you registered for the event but did not attend, no refunds will be provided.

For secured and safe transactions between the company and event participants, it is advisable to collect your kit by being physically present at the BIB collection centre and displaying the valid government approved photo id as given during the time of registration. Each participant is only eligible for one event kit for him/herself. In case, a participant cannot collect his/her BIB for a genuine reason, he/she can nominate someone to collect on his/her behalf with a VALID ID (Govt.) PROOF and an authorization letter from the participant.

Skechers will be felicitating the top three winners in the Male & Female open categories of the 10 km and 5 km walk with prize money, medals and certificates.

The winners will be announced on our website and will receive their win details in 5-7 working days post event.

Please note: The necessary tax deductions will be applicable on the prize money.

No, only those who successfully finish the walk shall be gratified with a medal.

Yes, we will issue the complete refund.

On committing a foul (no foot in contact with the ground/running/ bent knee /lifting /pushing other participants), a yellow paddle* will be shown to the participant by a judge. Each foul committed would amount to a penalty of 10 seconds being added to the final completion time of the participant. Any participant crossing the limit of 3 fouls (30 seconds penalty), would be shown a red paddle* to indicate disqualification.

• Participants should meet the minimum age requirement of
  1. For the 3Km Fun Walk, the applicant should be 7 years and above as on event day (i.e. on or before 19^th November 2023). It is mandatory for Parents or Guardians to accompany their child (between 7-14 years of age) for the walk during the event.
  2. For 5 Km Competitive Timed Walk, the applicant should be 16 years and above as on event day.
  3. For the 10 Km Competitive Timed Walk, the applicant should be 18 years and above as on event day.

• Participants should carry copy of their valid ID proof and submit it at the time of BIB collection and shall carry the original ID while reporting on event date.
• Participants shall report to the venue wearing their respective BIBs on their walking Jerseys as there are no provisions for the same at the venue.
• Wearing Sports shoes for the participants is mandatory throughout the event.
• Participants shall mandatorily wear their jerseys till the event concludes.

  1. For 3Km Fun Walk, the applicant should be 7 years and above as on event day (i.e. on or before 19^th November 2023). It is mandatory for Parents or Guardians to accompany their child (between 7-14 years of age) for the walk during the event.
  2. For 5 Km Speed Walk, the applicant should be 16 years and above as on event day.
  3. For the 10 Km Competitive Timed Walk, the applicant should be 18 years and above as on event day.

• Participants should carry copy of their valid ID proof and submit it at the time of BIB collection and shall carry original while reporting on event date.

We welcome registration from all categories and there is no restriction on the age, sex and disability.

NO ON-GROUND REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ENTERTAINED.

Participants can register for any of the 3 different walk categories by paying below participation fees:

• For 10km, the participation fees is Rs.999/- (incl. of taxes)
• For 5km, the participation fees is Rs.799/- (incl. of taxes)
• For 3km, the participation fees is Rs.599/- (incl. of taxes)
